This mod will add animated text over your character's head for important events in the Arathi Basin, Warsong Gulch, Alterac Valley and Eye of the Storm battlegrounds.

Events currently supported are:


· Warsong Gulch Flag Picked Up (Taken)
· Warsong Gulch Flag Returned
· Warsong Gulch Flag Captured
· Arathi Basin Node Assaulted
· Arathi Basin Node Taken
· Alterac Valley Graveyards Assaulted/Taken
· Alterac Valley Towers Assaulted/Defended/Destroyed
· Alterac Valley Gold Mine Taken
· Alterac Valley Troops Upgrade
· Alterac Valley Mounted Attack
· Captain Balinda Stonehearth Under Attack
· Captain Galvangar Under Attack
· Generals Under Attack
· Eye of the Storm Alliance/Horde taken Node
· Eye of the Storm Alliance/Horde lost Node
· Eye of the Storm Alliance/Horde taken flag
· Eye of the Storm Alliance/Horde drop flag
· Eye of the Storm Alliance/Horde capture flag
· Eye of the Storm Flag reset


The mod will tell you who (Alliance/Horde) and what happened. In Warsong Gulch the mod will also pop up the scores when 'The flags are returned to their bases' and will also alert you whenever your faction's flag carrier is critically injured.

BGTextAlerts will also monitor the battleground chat for 'Incoming' messages and will display them on the screen showing the node or the number of enemy units incoming.

BGTextAlerts will display MultiKills which are awards for killing enemy players quickly successively. You will also receive alerts for when you gain the Restoration, Berserking or Speed buffs.

To install just extract the two folders in the .ZIP file to your World of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns directory. Do not use the .EXE installed. It contains an out-of-date version of BGTextAlerts.

You can also select which text you see using the /bgtalerts option to open the options panel.

· BGTextAlerts now has animated text. This helps even more to attract your attention to important announcements. You can disable Animated Text and revert to the old fading text using the /bgtalerts options panel.
· Every time you make two or more killing blows in succession which are 10 seconds apart, you will get some funky new alerts called Multi Kills. Multi Kills range from a 'Double Kill' to ... well you check that out yourself :P
· BGTextAlerts will notify you whenever your faction's flag carrier is critically injured (<25% health).
· You will get an alert whenever you gain the Restoration, Berserking or Speed buffs while in a battleground.
· Inside Eye of the Storm, BGTextAlerts will now monitor for Flag Captures as well.
· You can now disable Version Checking using the /bgtalerts options panel.
· Fixed a bug that prevented BGTextAlerts from showing Warsong Gulch Scores.
· The BGAlerts minimap button shows which BGAlerts addons are installed and enabled.
